General Settings
Configure your UserVote instance
The settings page allows administrators to configure global options for your UserVote tenant. These settings affect all products and users.
Accessing Settings
To access settings:
- Log in as an admin
- Navigate to the Admin dashboard
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Or go directly to /admin/settings
Portal Settings
General portal configuration:
Portal Name:
- Your feedback portal name
- Shown in header and emails
Portal Logo:
- Upload your logo
- Recommended size: 200x50px
- Supports PNG, SVG
Favicon:
- Browser tab icon
- 32x32px recommended
Welcome Message:
- Shown on homepage
- Supports markdown
Branding
Customize the look:
Primary Color:
- Main brand color
- Used for buttons, links
Secondary Color:
- Accent color
- Used for highlights
Background Style:
- Default
- Gradient
- Image
Font:
- Choose from available fonts
- Applies to all text
Localization
Language and regional settings:
Default Language:
- English or Arabic
- New users default to this
Time Zone:
- Portal time zone
- Affects date displays
Date Format:
- DD/MM/YYYY
- MM/DD/YYYY
- YYYY-MM-DD
Authentication
Login and signup settings:
Allow Signups:
- Enable self-registration
- Or invitation-only
Require Email Verification:
- New users must verify email
Password Requirements:
- Minimum length
- Complexity rules
SSO Settings:
- Enable/disable SSO
- Configure providers
Voting Settings
Configure the voting system:
Default Credits:
- Credits for new users
- Per-product setting
Allow Reallocating:
- Can users move votes?
- Flexibility vs commitment
Show Vote Counts:
