Quick Start Guide

To get started with UserVote, you'll need to create an account:

1. Click the Sign Up button in the top navigation
2. Enter your email address and create a password
3. Fill in your display name
4. Check your email for a verification link
5. Click the link to verify your account

Once verified, you can log in and start participating.

After logging in, you'll see the home page with all available products:

• Products are categories for organizing ideas (e.g., "Mobile App", "Web Platform")
• Each product shows statistics like total ideas and total votes
• Click on a product to see all ideas submitted for it
• You can follow products to get notified about new ideas

Within each product, you can browse and search ideas:

• Use the search bar to find specific ideas
• Filter ideas by status (New, Under Review, Planned, etc.)
• Sort ideas by newest, most votes, most comments, or trending
• Click on any idea to see its full details and discussion

UserVote uses a credit-based voting system:

• You have a set number of vote credits per product
• Allocate credits to ideas you care about most
• You can distribute credits across multiple ideas
• The more credits you allocate, the stronger your vote
• Your vote weight depends on your tier (free, pro, enterprise)

Have a great idea? Submit it!

1. Navigate to the product where your idea belongs
2. Click Submit Idea button
3. Enter a clear, descriptive title
4. Provide detailed description of your idea
5. Click Submit to publish your idea

Note: Submitting an idea uses 1 vote credit and automatically votes for your idea.

Join the conversation:

• Add comments to share your thoughts on ideas
• Reply to other users' comments
• Pinned comments from the team appear at the top
• Report inappropriate comments to moderators
