Notification Types
You can receive notifications for:
Ideas:
- Your idea received a vote
- Your idea's status changed
- Your idea received a comment
Comments:
- Someone replied to your comment
- Your comment was mentioned
Following:
- New idea in a product you follow
- New comment on an idea you follow
System:
- Account-related updates
- Important announcements
Viewing Notifications
Access your notifications:
Notification Bell:
- Click the bell icon in the header
- See recent notifications
- Click to view details
Notification Page:
- Click "View All" in the dropdown
- Or navigate to /notifications
- See full notification history
Unread Indicator:
- Badge shows unread count
- Bold text for unread notifications
Notification Channels
Receive notifications through:

Enable push notifications in your browser when prompted for real-time alerts.
Marking as Read
Single Notification:
- Click on a notification to mark as read
- Or click the dot/checkbox
All Notifications:
- Click "Mark All as Read" button
- All notifications become read
Email Digests
Instead of individual emails, receive summaries:
Digest Options:
- Immediate: Each notification as it happens
- Daily: Summary once per day
- Weekly: Summary once per week
- None: No email notifications
Configure in notification preferences.
