Following Products

From the Product Page:

1. Navigate to the product you want to follow
2. Look for the Follow button in the product header
3. Click the button to start following
4. The button will change to Following ✓

From the Home Page:

1. Find the product card on the home page
2. Click the heart or follow icon on the card
3. You're now following the product

Quick Actions:

• One click to follow
• Click again to unfollow
• No confirmation needed

When following a product, you can receive notifications for:

New Ideas

• When someone submits a new idea
• Includes idea title and brief description

Status Updates

• When idea statuses change
• For example: "New" → "Under Review" → "Planned"

Announcements

• Official product announcements
• Important updates from the team

Weekly Digest (Optional)

• Summary of top ideas
• Activity highlights
• Most voted ideas of the week

View All Followed Products:

1. Go to your Profile
2. Click on "Following" or "Subscriptions"
3. See all products you're following

Unfollow a Product:

1. Go to the product page
2. Click the "Following" button
3. The button reverts to "Follow"

Or from your profile:

1. Go to Following section
2. Click the unfollow icon next to the product
3. Confirm if prompted

Customize notifications for followed products:

Notification Types:

Frequency Options:

• Instant: Get notified immediately
• Daily Digest: Once per day summary
• Weekly Digest: Weekly summary
• Off: No notifications (still following)

How to Configure:

1. Go to Settings → Notifications
2. Find "Product Notifications"
3. Adjust per notification type
4. Save your preferences

Following and Voting are different:

Can I Do Both?

Yes! You can follow a product AND vote on specific ideas within it. In fact, following helps you discover new ideas to vote on.

Recommendation:

• Follow products you're interested in
• Vote on specific ideas you want prioritized
• Comment to provide detailed feedback
